Collection: Specialty Blends

These are blends that have been created in answer to various requests throughout the years.  They have been developed to take advantage of the flavors of each of the component coffees to either enhance or offset the flavors of other coffees in each blend.  For example "Howlin' at the Moon" is a blend that was requested by a customer who was looking for two particular origins to be combined:  Sumatra and Costa Rican.  It has become the most popular blend asked for time after time from several customers.  Through the years the origins have changed occasionally in order to maintain consistency in the flavor from one year to the next.  This is necessary due to coffee being an agricultural commodity that will have characteristic differences from year to year depending on several climate factors.

I have also developed blends that shine in various brewing methods, such as "Gurley Street Espresso" and MUDD that makes a great cold brew.
