My most popular blend created for a customer requesting I merge two coffees of differing origins into one taste sensation. With a few trials I figured out the ratio and roast profile that enhanced the flavors of the Indonesian and Latin American coffees I use to make this bold, well balanced, very drinkable blend. A pleasant marriage of the earthy, spicy, heavy bodied qualities of the Indonesian with the citrusy, vanilla, nuts and chocolate qualities of the Latin American, roasted to a medium dark to preserve the flavor characteristics of both origins. The name was chosen as a nod to the customer’s name and has been a mainstay blend with my customers since day one.
